What is a root canal?

Who performs the root canal?

After a root canal is done what is the next step?

After root canal treatment has been performed your tooth’s nerve and blood supply have been removed and the tooth will become fragile. You still have your tooth but since it is no longer alive it is considered non vital. The next important step is to protect the tooth with a crown. The crown acts like a girdle to hold the tooth together. In our office crowns are highly aesthetic and no one will be aware that you have had dental treatment.

How long does a root canal take?

The root canal procedure takes about one hour.
